Konkani Muslims is a Muslim sub-ethnic group of Maharashtrian Muslims living in the Konkan region of India. They speak Marathi, Konkani and Urdu languages. A good number of them live in Mumbai .The former Maharashtra Chief Minister A.R.Antulay, film artists Mukri and Johny Walker are few of many famous Konkani Muslims.

Muslims from the Maharashtrian districts of Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg and Goa state are generally called Konkani Muslims.Thane Muslims generally are also Konkani Muslims. Most of the Muslims of Raigad and Ratnagiri district speak a dialect of the Marathi language called Bankoti/Sangameshwari, while those from southern Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Goa speak Konkani language. Muslim people of south Sindhudurg near Malvan and the former Maratha princely states of Sawantwadi and Oros speak a dialect of Marathi/Konkani called as Málvani language. One of the Princely States of India, the Janjira State in the Konkan region was ruled by the Siddis and politically dominated by Konkani muslims. Although the Siddis were settled in India, they are supposed to originate from Habash (Modern day Ethiopia)[citation needed].
