The period of Muhammad before Medina started with his birth and ended in 622 with the Migration to Medina in 622.

8 BH marked the start of the physical Persecution of Muslims [2].

Birth of Fatima the daughter of Muhammad. She was the wife of Ali ibn Abu Talib and all of offspirings of Muhammad are through her.

Persecution of the Muslims by the Quraish. A party of Muslims migrates to Abyssinia.

The splitting of the moon (Arabic: shaqq-al-Qamar), is one of several miracles that Muslims ascribe to Muhammad. Muslims view it one of the more spectacular miracles, performed in order to demonstrate to people the validity of his claim as a Prophet of a true God.

Boycott of the Hashemites and Muhammad by the Quraish.

Muhammad went to the city named Ta'if and invited them to Islam, but they answered in a rude manner and started throwing stones against them, causing him to bleed heavily. The entire visit lasted one day.

The day before, the Meccans made a collective assassination attempt on Muhammad's life [4].

Muhammad preaching the Doctrines of Monotheism and the threat of the Day of Judgment, did not at first have much success in the city of Mecca. His tribe, the Quraysh, which was in charge of the Kaaba, persecuted and harassed him continuously, until an assassination attempt forced him to flee the city and migrate to Medina.

Hilf al-Fudul was an alliance created by Muhammad in the pre-Islamic era [5].

Muhammad helped reach a solution regarding who would put back the stone of the Kaaba [6].

This event ended with Muhammad being in Medina.
