Millard West High School

Millard West High School is a secondary school located in Omaha, Nebraska.

The school first opened its doors on August 17, 1995. As of 2006, the school principal is Dr. Rick Kolowski. Their school mascot is the wildcat. In 2002, the school was designated as a National Blue Ribbon school of excellence. The school uses block schedules, with 4 blocks each day and 4 semesters a year. It is undergoing an addition to accommodate the increasing number of incoming students. Millard West has appx. 2100 students. Millard West offers many diverse clubs and athletics.

Millard West has one of the top-ranked music department in Nebraska, and the surrounding region. Under the direction of a recently hired director, the three show choirs, West In The Grove, Uptown Girls, and Swing Cats, have become some of the most recognized show choirs in Nebraska. All three of these show choirs are sponsored by Millard West. These show choirs compete locally and regionally.

Famous and Notable Millard West alum include actor Chris Klein (1997) ("Election", "American Pie").
