Michael Worth

Michael Troy Worth (born January 13, 1972 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American actor.

Born in Philadelphia, Michael is from German and Native American heritage. When he was 11, he directed his first film titled The Tire. He continued making short films during his youth.

Sometime later, Worth grabbed a few small parts in film and television. He lived with his dog in his truck for 6 months in Los Angeles while trying to save money. Surviving on odd jobs and construction work, Michael grabbed whatever small parts he could as he climbed the Hollywood ladder.

His first lead came with the film Final Impact from which he was labeled as a "a promising newcomer" by Variety magazine. He worked through a series of low budget films before landing on the short-lived TV series Acapulco H.E.A.T.. He was also one of the front-runners for the role of Robin in Batman Forever.

In 2004, he wrote and directed the ultra independent Killing Cupid. It grabbed him a Best Director nomination at the Action On Film Film Festival in 2005 as well as "Best Fiction Film" at the "Hollywood Documentary and Fiction Film Festrival" in 2006.

Worth acted in and wrote the screenplays for the psychological thriller western Dual (2005) and the sci-fi film Devil On The Mountain (2006). His most recent project is the film "God's Ears" which Michael wrote, directed and played a boxer suffering from autism. The film also stars John Saxon and Tim Thomerson.
