The Manchester Aquatics Centre is a public aquatics sports facility in Manchester, England.

It was purpose -built in order to host the swimming events in XVII Commonwealth Games. Its form is based on a wave, symbolising the nature of its function. It is an icon to the city's revolutionary change during the course of the 1990s and 2000s, during which time large sections of the city were regenerated

It has two 50-metre swimming pools, various diving facilities, a gym, and fitness studios. The fitness studios host over 30 different classes at about £3 per session including yoga, aerobics, circuit training, and pilates. Classes also take place in the swimming pool.

It is possible to take out a membership at the centre which enables you to enter the building whenever it is open and to take part in most activities.

The Manchester Aquatics Centre is home to the City of Manchester Aquatics Swim Team, who host annual meets at the venue and train six days a week in the two 50-metre pools.
