Malcolm Borg

Malcolm Borg is chairman the North Jersey Media Group, formerly Macromedia, which is owned and operated by the Borg family.

The North Jersey Media Group publishes The Record (Bergen County) and, as an edition of The Record, the Herald News (Passaic County, NJ), forming the nation’s 64th largest daily newspaper. NJMG also publishes nine paid and 30 free-distribution weekly newspapers in Bergen, Essex, Morris, and Passaic counties, totaling 440,000 copies a week. NJMG also publishes The Parent Paper, (201), New Jersey Cops, and Kids, monthly niche products; and prints USA TODAY, Investor’s Business Daily, New York Press, The Jersey Journal, amNew York, The Financial Times, and about 40 other newspaper products under contract for others.

The National Press Photographers Association named him “Editor of the Year” in recognition of “a varied and distinguished career covering most facets of the newspaper business.” He serves on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Press Foundation, and is a former member of the Board of Directors and past president of the New Jersey Press Association.
