Lou Tsioropoulos

Louis "Lou" C. Tsioropoulos (born August 31, 1930 in Lynn, Massachusetts) is a retired American professional basketball player who played for the NBA's Boston Celtics for three seasons from 1956-1959.

A 6'5", 190 lbs. forward from the University of Kentucky, Tsioropoulos played in a total of 157 NBA games and averaged 5.8 ppg. He was a member of the Kentucky Wildcats when the won the 1951 NCAA Basketball Championship versus Kansas State. His #16 jersey was retired by his alma mater and he is in the University of Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame.

Tsioropoulos is a retired principal of Jefferson County High School and now lives in Florida.[1]
