Long Point Bay
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Long Point Bay is a protected body of water in the Canadian province of Ontario on the north side of Lake Erie. Despite its size of about 200 square miles, much of its area is too shallow for commercial navigation. However it is popular with recreational boaters. It contains a network of natural gas wells and pipelines, many of which are now inactive. The bay is divided into two sections, the smaller Inner Bay, and the larger Outer Bay.
