This is a list of all settlements in Serbia with official city/town status. Note: figures after the names are from the 2002 census, two figures designate both strictly urban as well as wider city limits, T - Town, C - muniCipality.

Most of the large cities in Serbia have a Serb ethnic majority. Large cities in Kosovo have Albanian majority. Novi Pazar has a Bosniak majority, while Subotica is ethnically mixed, with the largest ethnic group being the Hungarians. It also the main centre of Bunjevci and Croats in Vojvodina.

Many Serbs also live in Bosnia and Herzegovina (mainly in Republika Srpska), where they are one of the three constitutional nations. The largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina with Serbian ethnic majority is Banja Luka with about 196,500 people (by the 2004 data).

Large number of Serbs also live in diaspora. There are many who claim that Chicago is the city with second largest Serbian population after Belgrade, which may well be true. Other diaspora cities: Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Vienna, Frankfurt are home to many members of the Serbian nation.
