The following is a list of fictional characters from the Star Wars video games Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Jedi have short descriptions and links to their main articles.
Bao-Dur and the Remote are characters in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. The name "Bao-Dur" may be an homage to Baldur's Gate, a role-playing game developed by the same company that made the original Knights of the Old Republic.
Bao-Dur is a Iridonian from Iridonia, and a technician who fought under the command of the Jedi Exile during the Mandalorian Wars, hence his insistence as referring to the Jedi Exile as the "General". Bao-Dur is the inventor of the Mass Shadow Generator that ended the battle on Malachor V by completely obliterating the Mandalorian Armada and inadvertently killing many Republic soldiers on his own side of the battle, leading to a great deal of guilt later in his life. The Exile (who much later befriended Bao-Dur) gave the command, which sent massive echoes in the Force throughout the galaxy. Bao-Dur is trainable as a Jedi Guardian however it is exceptionally difficult to get him to initiate the dialogue that allows this. After the Mandalorian War, Bao-Dur used his extensive technological knowledge to aid the restoration of Telos where the Exile meets him again.

| Affiliation | Jedi Council, Galactic Republic |
| Portrayed by | Kevin Michael Richardson |
Jolee Bindo is a character from the first game, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. An old hermit living on Kashyyyk and a former Jedi Padawan, Bindo helped Revan get past shield generators that lead deeper into the shadowlands and remained with Revan's party. He is a Jedi Consular in Knights of the Old Republic. After the main character gains experience, Jolee will tell of how he was once a smuggler, and through this met his wife. Against the wishes of the Jedi Council he trained her in the Jedi ways. She was then seduced to the dark side by Exar Kun, upon failing to convince Jolee to join Exar Kun as well, she drew her lightsaber on him. Jolee won the fight, but he was unable to bring himself to kill her. She escaped and went to on to kill many Jedi. Jolee expected to be punished harshly for his mistakes, but the council said he had learned his lessons the hard way, and even considered promoting him to knighthood. Disappointed with the Jedi's decision, Jolee left the order and started wandering the galaxy before being stranded on Kashyyyk, where he meets the player character.
Jolee Bindo is a unique Jedi in the fact that he believes in neither the light or dark side of the force. He walks the line between them stating to Revan that he thinks the Jedi are wrong about love. If the player takes the path to the light he will continue to be available in their party and continue to help in the fight against Malak and to destroy the Star Forge. However, if Revan chooses to reclaim his title of Dark Lord, Jolee will once more declare his allegiance to the Jedi, and will fight Revan and Bastila.
Brianna is the "Last Handmaiden" on a Jedi Academy located on Telos IV in the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. She initially does not reveal her name to the Exile; until she mentions her name late in the game, she is referred to as the Handmaiden. As an illegitimate child between Jedi Master Arren Kae and the powerful Echani general, Yusanis, she resembles her other five sisters less than they do each other (although all seem to have white hair and blue eyes). If the Exile is a female, she will not see Brianna again after the Telos IV enconter, but if the Exile is male, Brianna joins the party after leaving Telos on the Ebon Hawk. Her training before joining the Exile's party makes her a skilled close quarter combatant and, after fulfilling certain combat and conversation requirements, she can be trained to become a Jedi Guardian.

Chuundar is a character from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
Chuundar is a Wookiee from Kashyyyk and is also Zaalbar's brother. Zaalbar was exiled after attacking Chuundar with his claws after discovering his brother was selling fellow Wookiees into slavery. Chuundar then later took over his tribe and exiled his own father, the former Wookiee chieftan, Freyrr.
Once the player comes with Zaalbar to Kashyyyk in search of a Star Map, Chuundar imprisons Zaalbar and tells Revan that he must kill their father, Freyrr, in the lower levels of the planet to free the Wookiee.
If Revan chooses to kill Freyrr, the player leaves with the gratitude of Chuundar. Chuundar keeps enslaving the Wookiees and the player can no longer return to the Wookiee village. If Revan spares Freyrr, he kills Chuundar and the slavers, frees the Wookiees, frees Zaalbar, and leaves with the gratitude of Freyrr, able to return to Kashyyyk at any time.

Darth Nihilus is an antagonist introduced in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords and appearing in the Star Wars: Legacy comic series.
Darth Nihilus was a shadowy figure who wore a red and white mask and dressed in a black cloak, which is displayed on the game's cover art. His origin is never explained; all that is revealed of his early life is that he was found by Darth Traya after the Mandalorian Wars. Traya discovered him to be Force-sensitive, and she began training him in the ways of the Sith at the Trayus Academy on Malachor V. He speaks in a mysterious language and is the only character that does not receive subtitles when speaking in a language other than Galactic Basic.
Through a vision Traya shares with the player, it is revealed that Nihilus and fellow Sith student Darth Sion turn against their dark mistress. They cast Traya down, stripped her of her power, and expelled her from the Sith Order. Nihilus destroyed the Force-sensitive planet of Katarr and much of the remaining Jedi Order with it; Sion lead his sect of assassins in destroying the remaining Jedi.
Nihilus ravaged and consumed whole worlds to feed his insatiable appetite for power. This is conducted from the bridge of his flagship, the Ravager, which is a playable location. Nihilus enslaved his crew and others around him, such as Visas Marr. Nihilus sent Marr on a mission to bring the Jedi Exile before him so that he can consume her power. Instead, the Exile freed Marr from Nihilus' bonds and she subsequently turned Viasa against her former master.
Nihilus travelled to Telos, expecting to find hundreds of Jedi there. Upon arriving, Nihilus found no "Jedi" on the planet and the Exile, with the help of the now-Mandalore Canderous Ordo and Visas Marr, invaded his ship. On the Ravager's bridge, Nihilus attempted to absorb the Exile's Force energies, only to weaken himself. The Exile, together with Canderous Ordo and Marr, defeated the Sith Lord. After his death, his body dissolved in a cloud of dark side energy. Marr also gave the Exile a chance to take the Sith Lord's mask after he is defeated.
In issue #5 of the Legacy series, the reigning Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Krayt contacted Nihilus' spirit and revealed that the ancient Sith had escaped death by storing his consciousness in his own armor. Along with fellow ancient Sith Darth Bane and Darth Andeddu, Nihilus denounced Krayt as a "pretender" to the Sith lineage.

| Affiliation | Sith, Trayus Academy |
| Portrayed by | Louis Mellis (voice actor) |
Darth Sion is a fictional and antagonistic character from the Star Wars Expanded Universe.
Darth Sion, along with Darth Nihilus and Darth Traya, is one of the title characters in the video game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. He is voiced by Louis Mellis.
When the Sith on Korriban turned on themselves after Darth Malak's death and Revan's disappearance, Sion is, apparently, one of the Sith Lords that escapes to the Unknown Regions in the galaxy. But it seemed he actually went to Malachor V, where he became apprenticed to Darth Traya, Revan's former teacher.
Sion is a uniquely powerful individual, having learned the ways of pain in the Trayus Academy on Malachor. Torturing and killing others enhanced his strength in the Force, and his ability to feed on his own pain and hatred made him almost immortal. A master with a lightsaber, and perhaps the most infamous Sith assassin of the era, Sion was known to be responsible for the death of countless Jedi during the shadow war waged by himself and Lord Nihilus.
Sion lead a team os Sith Assassins after the Exile, whom he believed to be the last of the Jedi. He hijacked a Republic warship, called the Harbinger, and tracked the Exile to the Peragus II mining colony. Though he destroyed Peragus, the Exile and her companions escaped.
While on Korriban, he captured and killed the Jedi Master Lonna Vash, one of the members of the Jedi Council who banished the Jedi Exile from the Jedi Order. Before her death at Sion's hands, she had this to say about him: "This Sith Lord, Darth Sion, is a perversion of the dark side, the likes of which I have never seen before. Although he was cunning enough to capture me, he seems like a volatile brute, and should be easily coerced."
He duelled with the Exile on Korriban, the dark forces of which made him unstoppable; the Exile had no choice but to flee.
Darth Sion, along with fellow Sith Lord Darth Nihilus, were former apprentices of Traya, before he and Nihilus cast her out of the Sith Order and stripped her of her powers. He sought not only the destruction of all Jedi, but everything his former master held dear. He is eventually defeated by the Exile, who had served Revan during the Mandalorian Wars.
Having lived so long knowing nothing but hatred, Sion was glad to leave that evil place at last. The Exile could not defeat Sion in battle, and instead uses her powers of persuasion to convince Sion that Darth Traya had no more use for him, and that by giving up the Force he would finally be free from his pain and hatred. Sion gave in to the Exile's influence, sacrificing his own life to the Force in the heart of the Trayus Academy.
Shortly before his death, Sion showed he was not entirely consumed by hatred, and that perhaps he sought something more than death and destruction. He said bitterly to the Exile, "Like you, Revan touched power and turned away. The chance to heal this fractured galaxy at last . . . and he turned away!"
Sion professed his love for the Exile before their final duel. One deleted scene has Atton and Sion fighting over her before the duel, Atton either being wounded or killed by Sion, wounded if The Exile is Light, or dying if the Exile is Dark.
Like most other Sith Lords whose names begin with Darth, Sion's name suggests another word: scion, meaning heir. In this case, heir to his master, Traya, and the legacy of the Sith.
Admiral Forn Dodonna is a fictional character who appeared in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. She was an admiral in the Republic Fleet, noted for her skills as a leader and for aiding the player and his group in defeating Darth Malak and destroying the Star Forge. If you choose to follow the light path her ultimate fate is unknown but if you follow the dark path her capital ship gets destroyed, killing her and Master Vandarr, but it can be assumed that she either retired from the military or was promoted to higher command shortly after Malak's fall. She was later replaced by Admiral Carth Onasi in command of the Outer Rim fleet. It is likely that she is an ancestor of General Jan Dodonna, from Star Wars Episode IV.

G0-T0 ("Goto") is a droid from the 2004 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
To oversee and aid in the planetary reconstruction of the planet Telos, the Republic spent a great deal of credits to design a technical droid to handle the immense data that was produced daily: climate changes, shield management reports, et cetera. This protocol droid was known as G0-T0. Known to few, however, was that the droid also had a secondary duty: to aid in the reconstruction of the Republic, which was wounded from the aftermath of the Jedi Civil War. To accomplish this task, it had two directives:
- Produce options to rebuild the Republic
- Follow all the laws of the Republic.
Working for quite a long time to accomplish its duties on Telos, the droid found itself unable to follow both of the directives for rebuilding the Republic. Every logical option ended up breaking a law of the Republic. In that moment, the droid "broke". Choosing to follow the first directive, the droid began to enact plans to save the Republic, regardless of their legality.
G0-T0's actions, while illegal, did aid the Republic in rebuilding itself. Its smuggling ring caused the deaths of destabilizing persons or organizations, developed unofficial profits for entire sectors, and strengthened Republic worlds that would otherwise be poor and ignored. G0-T0's plans were foiled by the Jedi Exile. She uncloaked Goto's private yacht, which was then destroyed by the many enemies of Goto, who had formerly been unable to locate the mysterious ship. G0-T0 presented itself to the Exile on the Ebon Hawk, but as Goto's "gift", not Goto himself - threatening to blow the whole ship with a proton detonator if the Exile decides to destroy the droid.
G0-T0 guessed that Bao-Dur's remote was intended to re-charge the Mass Shadow Generator on the planet, destroying it entirely. The smuggling robot felt that the planet contained too many priceless artifacts to destroy, and attempted to stop the Remote from activating the weapon.
The outcome of this conflict is shown, instead of spelled out. If the player chooses to progress through the game in accordance with the light side, it is assumed that G0-T0 fails in his attempt to destroy the Remote, and thus the planet is destroyed by the Mass Shadow Generator. However, if the player chooses the path of the dark side for the Exile to walk, the planet remains intact, and the Remote is destroyed.
It is believed that some of this outcome would have been longer, had the "Droid Factory" levels in The Sith Lords remained in-game. In those deleted levels, it is believed that G0-T0 reveals that it used HK-50 assassin droids to hunt for the Exile. In the Droid Factory levels, HK-47 was supposed to come to an agreement with the HK-50s, so that these droids would destroy G0-T0 during the finale's G0-T0/Remote standoff.
G0-TO's red "eye" is taken from HAL 9000 in 2001: A Space Odyssey, although it has been turned up-side down so that the reflections (from the ceiling lamps inside the spaceship from the movie) are at the bottom instead of the top. G0-TO's name is reminiscient of the BASIC command GOTO.

| Hanharr | |
|---|---|
|
|
|
| Position | Bounty Hunter |
| Homeworld | Kashyyyk |
| Species | Wookiee |
| Gender | Male |
| Affiliation | Exchange |
| Portrayed by | Not applicable |
Hanharr is a Wookiee in The Sith Lords, and can play different roles within the game, depending on the alignment of the player character. Hanharr is a psychotic bounty hunter, he is the first 'evil Wookiee' to be used in a game (although he was actually preceded by Chuundar in the first Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game), and a strong contrast with the courageous Zaalbar who travelled with the player in the original game.
Hanharr is encountered on the planet Nar Shaddaa, as is Mira, another bounty hunter. One of these will join the party of the Jedi Exile, as is determined by the personality of the player character. Light-side players are joined by Mira, dark-side players are joined by Hanharr, although it is possible to complete the joining sidequests so as to get the 'wrong' character for a player's alignment; such as gaining just enough Dark Side points to have Hanharr join the party and then complete the game as a Light Side character, or to gain just enough Light Side points to have Mira join the party and then complete the game as a Dark Side character.
There is also a history between Hanharr and Mira. Previously, Hanharr had been employed to hunt Mira, and had trapped her in a series of sewers, where he planned to ambush her. His ambush backfired, however, as an explosive he set detonated prematurely, almost killing him. Despite the circumstances, Mira took pity on the wounded Wookiee and dragged him to safety. In Wookiee culture, such an act demands a life-debt, but Hanharr could not stand the prospect. It is unknown whether Mira knew she would be owed a life-debt, and she certainly wouldn't have been keen on the idea, but Hanharr detested the situation because he felt it made him weak. Torn between wanting to honor the ancient tradition of his people and an overwhelming desire to be rid of Mira, Hanharr serves his life-debt, while simultaneously plotting to kill her in the belief that it will free him of his life-debt.
On Nar Shaddaa, if the Jedi Exile follows the way of the dark side, Mira is captured by Visquis, an overseer for the criminal gang called The Exchange, and Visquis allows Hanharr to kill her in the depths of Jekk'Jekk Tarr. The player is given control of Hanharr, and Mira is easily killed.
Playing as a light-side Jedi, Mira instead defeats Hanharr, and escapes. After this, Hanharr is found by Kreia, the mentor of the Jedi Exile, and she takes him into her service. However, so as to maintain his servitude, she promises that she will show him no mercy or pity. Later, when the heroes travel to Malachor V, Hanharr confronts Mira once again, and loses. (The player controlling Mira can choose to either kill or spare Hanharr, although this decision does not affect gameplay.)
As a Wookiee, Hanharr is extremely strong, and is most useful as a melee combatant. He typically wields two Wookiee Ryyk Blades. The player can gain influence with Hanharr through acts of cruelty and aggression. With enough influence, the player can upgrade Hanharr's stats, and can discover that when Czerka Corporation Slavers first arrived on the Wookiee homeworld, Hanharr killed his entire village. In his mind, he was saving them from a life of degradation and servitude.
If the player gains enough influence with Hanharr, it is at one point possible to endlessly repeat the same dialogue-choice, that will increase Hanharr's strength by 2, lower his intelligence by 2, and give the player experience each time. If Hanharr's intelligence goes below 0, it will instead get stuck at 255. This means that it is possible to get both Hanharr's strength and intelligence up to 255, and give endless experience to the player.
Juhani was once a padawan who once believed she killed her master. She turned to the dark side and put a taint on the Grove on Dantooine where she meditated. She believed that after what she did the Jedi Council would not accept her back and that the dark side held greater power. Depending on which path the conversation is steered in by the player, Revan may either fight (and kill) her or redeem her and have her join him to discover the location of the Star Forge. She is also another love interest of the Female Revan (light side) if the player builds up conversations the right way.

| Position | Exchange leader on Taris |
| Homeworld | Unknown, (resides on Taris) |

Davik Kang's only appearance in the Star Wars Expanded universe is Knights of the Old Republic.
Some four millennia prior to the Battle of Yavin, Davik Kang was the head of the criminal syndicate the Exchange on the Outer Rim planet of Taris, a "mafia"-type group dealing in smuggling, extortion, and bounty hunting which spans the galaxy. Davik was known to surround himself with a large security force and notorious bounty hunters and mercenaries such as Canderous Ordo and Calo Nord. During the planetary bombardment of Taris by Darth Malak's Sith forces, Davik was betrayed and killed by Canderous Ordo and his new companion the amnesiac (the player) or by Calo Nord if the player has a Melee weapon and Calo throws a grenade. The player and his/her followers then appropriated Davik's flagship, the Ebon Hawk.
Borna Lys is a Twi'lek resident of Nar Shaddaa in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
On the smuggler's moon, she is involved in a swoop racing cantina. The cantina had not been attracting many customers, as its races were invariably won by the owner's customised racing droid. The Jedi Exile visits the cantina and destroys the droid, causing the cantina's owner to sell the establishment to Lys.

| Position | Sith, Jedi Sentinel (Knight Rank) |
| Homeworld | Katarr |
| Species | Miraluka |
| Gender | Female |
| Affiliation | Sith Order, Jedi Order |
| Portrayed by | Kelly Hu (voice) |
Visas Marr (born 3,976 BBY) is a fictional character in the Star Wars video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
Visas is from the planet Katarr and is the lone survivor of its destruction when it was drained of the Force by her master, Darth Nihilus when he learned a secret jedi conclave assembled on the planet. Her species, the Miraluka, is a race that lacks physical eyesight but possesses the ability to see through the Force. This ability is called Force Sight. Feeling echoes in the Force, silent screams of the innocent, seeing all life around her becoming worse than dead—becoming nothing but absence in the Force—feeling drained, broken, having lost everything she was bound to . . . it was incredibly painful for Visas, and still, against all odds, she survived. And then, walking through the ashes of Katarr, she was approached by Nihilus himself.
The Sith Lord made her see for the first time the galaxy as a whole, and having experienced it, she wished to die. The galaxy, stripped of the Force, appeared as a lifeless conglomerate of flesh and rock, touched by swarms of ignorant living beings, the plague of life. As Nihilus explained, he wanted Visas to believe in his cause, that all life must be exterminated.
This vision severely damaged her Force Sight which she, as a Miraluka, had to solely rely on, having no physical sight. Nevertheless, being valuable as Force-sensitive, she was taken by Nihilus as an apprentice and servant.
About a year later, Visas, as well as Nihilus, felt a disturbance in the Force caused by the Jedi Exile and the "echoes" being created. However, Nihilus was unaware that the Exile was its source, as it did not feel like originating from a living being. After that discovery, Nihilus sent Visas to trace the unusual disturbance.
Visas infiltrated the Exile's ship, the Ebon Hawk, during the protagonist's absence and engaged in fight when the Exile returned, only to be defeated, wounded and have her lightsaber broken. This caused Visas to abandon Nihilus and pledge her life to the Exile who, to the displeasure of certain crew members, took Visas to the medbay instead of finishing her.
Impressed by the Exile's compassion, Visas embraced the light side and told the protagonist her entire back story, as well as taught the Exile to use Force Sight. She refused, however, to guide the Exile to her master, as she felt her benefactor was not ready to face such a threat at that time. However, she foresaw that they would eventually meet in the near future.
From that moment, Visas aided the Exile during the protagonist's search for the remaining Jedi Masters. In a final test of allegiance to the Exile, Visas, along with the Exile herself, confronted and destroyed her old master, Darth Nihilus, aboard his vessel, the Ravager.
Her fate ended up solely resting on that of the Exile, who inspired her to stand up against her former master. She followed the protagonist to the dead world of Malachor V in the protagonist's quest to stop the "wound" in the Force that the Mass Shadow Generator had created, and, as well as the Exile's other companions, escaped the planet on the Ebon Hawk just before its collapse.
Little is known of Visas' ultimate fate. She was hinted to be vital in the subsequent restoration of the Jedi Order; also, according to Darth Traya's final predictions, she returned to her homeworld, Katarr, and, looking upon its surface, finally saw what she was meant to see.
Visas eventually confesses to being in love with The Exile from the moment she felt his, or her, presence in the Force. This would spark a somewhat one-sided rivalry with Brianna for the Exile's affections.
Though if the player was on the path of the darkside, he/she could have Visas stab herself to make Darth Nihlius and her connection break. This would ultimately weaken Nihlius. She would die on the Ravenger after Nihlius dissolved into smoke.

Mira (born 3,974 BBY) is a bounty hunter in the fictional Star Wars universe, seen in the 2004 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
Mira lost her family during the Mandalorian Wars. By the end of the wars, the Galactic Republic was flooding with refugees, and many of them, including Mira, ended up in the refugee sector of Nar Shaddaa. To survive in the hostile environment, she became a bounty hunter with the sole purpose of earning credits. A rival bounty hunter, the Wookiee Hanharr, was employed to hunt her by an unknown person.
Hanharr planned to ambush Mira in vents beneath the Nar Shaddaa docks and drive her into some mines he placed in escape tunnels, but Mira outwitted him by remotely disabling the mines and re-enabling them when Hanharr was pursuing her. Hanharr survived the explosion - barely - and begged Mira to end his torment by killing him, but Mira felt sorry for him and saved him.
Mira tracked the Exile, who was helping the Nar Shaddaa's refugees and undermining the Exchange's business. When Visquis, the local Exchange overseer, tried to lure the Exile into a trap in Jekk'Jekk Tarr, Mira stole the exile's envirosuit (which was supposed to protect the Exile from the Jekk'Jekk Tarr atmosphere toxic to humans) and allowed Visquis to capture her. Unbeknownst to her, however, Hanharr was collaborating with Visquis.
While the Exile was trapped in the Jekk'Jekk Tarr tunnels, Visquis allowed Hanharr a chance to kill Mira on his arena. However, Mira proved herself tough to kill. She defeated Hanharr and left him apparently dead on the arena, fought her way through Visquis' Ubese bounty hunters and let the Exile in, escaping the tunnels herself. After that, Mira joined the Ebon Hawk crew in their quest to free the Exile from Goto's yacht.
She remained loyal to the Exile, accompanying him or her during her adventures on the Ebon Hawk, alebit using the Exile's bounty as an excuse. The player can, if he or she has enough influence with Mira, then train her in the ways of the Force as a Jedi Sentinel.
Mira confronted Hanharr once again on Malachor V. The player (as Mira) has a choice, after defeating Hanharr once again, to kill him or to spare his life. In the latter case, Hanharr vows to hunt Mira until one of them dies. This choice, however, does not affect gameplay.
According to Darth Traya's predictions, Mira would stop hunting life and instead live it. She also said that she would die one day many many years later but that she did it willingly and of her own choice, protecting others.
Should the Exile, after gaining Mira as a follower, turn to the Dark Side, Mira will follow the player into darkness. Kreia reveals that Mira dies hunted, a murderess and slayer of Jedi.
Janice Nall is a female Twi'lek who runs a droid shop on the upper levels of Taris in Knights of the Old Republic. Her droid business suffers due to the confiscation of her assault droids by the occupying Sith authorities and the bigoted attitudes of the planet's human nobility.
Nall is responsible for the construction and modification of T3-M4, a utility droid ordered from her shop by Canderous Ordo (under orders from Exchange boss Davik Kang) for the purpose of breaking into the Sith military base and stealing the launch codes needed to bypass the Sith blockade of Taris.
She was most likely killed by Darth Malak's assault on Taris.
Calo Nord is a diminutive bounty hunter from Taris who works for the crime lord Davik Kang. Before working with Kang, Calo hunted several large and dangerous creatures such as a rancor to win favor and got in the Exchange. He gave the mounted heads to Davik as gifts. When the Sith attack Taris and the player was attempting to steal the Ebon Hawk, Calo and Davik defended the prized ship. Davik was gunned down and Calo attempted a kamikaze maneuver with a thermal detonator. He was oddly unfazed but was subsequently crushed by fallen debris. Later, during the player's Jedi training, it is revealed that Calo actually survived the destruction of Taris. Darth Malak offered a substantial reward for Bastilla's capture and her allies' death. After Revan obtains the first Star Map, Calo attacks the player and is killed in his first failed mission.

| Position | Mandalore, mercenary |
| Homeworld | Ordo |

| Gender | Male |
| Affiliation | Exchange, Mandalorians, Galactic Republic |
| Portrayed by | John Cygan (voice) |
Canderous Ordo is a fictional character in the Star Wars video games Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
In the game, Revan may be either male or female. He is canonically considered male, so will be referred to as such.
Born in 4014 BBY, Canderous was a veteran Mandalorian warrior who fought in the Great Sith War and the Mandalorian Wars against the forces of the Old Republic and the Jedi. After the defeat of the Mandalorian clans, Canderous came to be employed as an enforcer for a crime lord named Davik Kang on the planet of Taris. When the Sith blockaded the planet, Ordo decided it was time to move on. Assisting Revan in stealing the Ebon Hawk from its current owners, Canderous escaped the planet. Canderous followed Revan in his goals, despite often disagreeing with his choices during the course of his plans.
During his time with Revan, Canderous told many stories of when he was a raw recruit. He was apparently talented, and in the first story he relates to Revan he describes how he fought in a Basilisk War Droid above a planet. He tells how he dropped 80 km onto the surface of the planet, and pulled up with 30 m to spare. He then proceeded to destroy the shield generators of the camp, earning his colors as a good recruit.
After Revan left the galaxy, Canderous soon took on the name and position of leader of the Mandalorians. He set up a base on Dxun, a small moon orbiting Onderon. During his time as leader he had sealed himself in a full-body suit of armor. While it seems Canderous did this to avoid his people realizing their leader was allied with Revan, comments from Kreia imply that there was a second reason for his actions: Canderous did not wish to see his face, the face of a man Revan abandoned. However, in fact it is because Mandalorian Tradition demands that "Mandalore" never remove his armor. Five years after the end of the Sith War, Canderous returned to the galactic scene when he pledged himself and his warriors to the service of the Jedi Exile in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
During the game, when Canderous asks Carth about his experiences in the Mandalorian Wars, Carth is revealed to be a little traumatized by his experiences to which Canderous responds with disappointment and disgust at Carth's view on war. A similar exchange occurred in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords where Canderous, as Mandalore, questions Bao-Dur on his involvement in the battle at Malachor V where a guilt-ridden Bao-Dur eventually says that he doesn't need the Mandalorian kind of honour and refers to them as murderers and such. According to Darth Traya's prophecies, after the events of the Sith Lords, Canderous goes on to many other battles.
In the game his voice is provided by John Cygan, who has often provided the voice for Dash Rendar in other Star Wars games.
According to Chris Avellone's comments in the Obsidian Entertainment forum, he is 63 (in Mandalorian years) in KotOR II. [1]
During one of the conversations the player will have on board the Ebon Hawk on Knights of the Old Republic I, Canderous will talk about his experience chasing pirates in an asteroid belt. Once he detonates the bomb to destroy them however the asteroid like object begins to rotate and heat up and as he states "the object began to fire thermal projectiles at us, melting our armor like wax." It flees and his fleet pursues it, however it escapes beyond the Galactic Rim. This is one of the earliest encounters with the Yuuzhan Vong [2] in the Star Wars Universe.

Atton Rand (born between 3,983 and 3,980 BBY) is a playable character in the Xbox and PC role playing videogame Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
Atton is an Echani-combat trained pilot that the main character meets on the asteroid mining station Peragus II. Atton fought in the Mandalorian Wars as well as the Jedi Civil War. He originally fought with the Republic, and when Revan won against the Mandalorians and became Darth Revan, Atton remained under his command and joined the Sith. He is one of the characters that can become a Jedi during the course of the game, as a Jedi Sentinel. (If you are a Sith, he is a Dark Jedi Sentinel).
During the Jedi Civil War, Atton was part of an elite Sith assassin unit, trained to resist Jedi Force powers and sent on missions to kill or capture Jedi to be broken and converted to Sith. Later during the war, Atton was confronted by a female Jedi who informed him of his Force-sensitive nature, warning him that the Sith would undoubtedly command him to train as a Dark Jedi if they found out. Atton struck her down, but before her death, she opened up her mind to his, giving him a glimpse of the Force as she saw it. Enraged, Atton killed her, though the impression she left caused him to become disillusioned and he deserted the Sith.
After the Jedi Exile frees him from a force cage at the Peragus Mining Facility and works with him to escape, Atton reluctantly continues to travel with him/her. In time, Atton recounts some incriminating details of his past before the Exile, expecting to be punished for his crimes. However, the Exile is able to forgive Atton, and, at his request, trains him in the ways of the Jedi Sentinel. Atton continues to travel with the Exile, participating in the defense of Telos against a Sith armada led by Darth Nihilus and, shortly after, taking the Exile to Malachor V, where the Exile went on to defeat Darth Sion and Darth Traya.
Atton can become a Jedi or Dark Jedi Sentinel during the game after the player has visited Nar Shadaa and spoke with the Twi'lek in the Refugee Sector who knows him and reveals that he has a secret. If the player has enough influence, he will begin his training and become Jedi Sentinel.
If the Jedi Exile is made female by the player, then Atton will have a possessive relationship with her; however, the ending is the same with just a few dialogue changes.
In the cut ending of the game, Atton was supposed to die due to wounds inflicted by Darth Sion, if the Jedi Exile was female and had achieved the romantic relationship with him. Alternately, he could also survive and accompany the Exile on more adventures.
Canonically, Atton, and the other companions are supposed to survive the events of the game and help rebuild the Jedi Order.
In the book "Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide", Atton is listed as Atton "Jaq" Rand. Whether "Jaq" is a middle name or nickname is not stated.[citation needed]
Queen Talia is the ruler of the planet Onderon in The Sith Lords.
During much of her reign, she is in constant conflict with her cousin, General Vaklu, over whether or not it is best for Onderon to remain part of the Republic. The formerly political conflict eventually erupts into a short lived civil war, after Vaklu launches an assault on her palace with the aid of the Sith, in order to gain control of the government and fulfill his agenda. Her main counsel is the Jedi Master Kavar, who also served as one of her strategists and is sought after by the Jedi Exile in their quest to find the remaining Jedi Masters.
The conflict on Onderon, and ultimately, Talia's fate, is settled mostly due to the choices of the Jedi Exile.
Due to the intervention of the Jedi Exile, Vaklu and his forces were defeated and Queen Talia was able to survive, leading to a long-lasting reign. Vaklu was either imprisoned or executed (depending on the Exile's choice). She amply rewarded the Exile for his assistance, bequeathing several valuable artifacts used by her Force-sensitive ancestors. When the invasion of Telos occurred, she sent significant numbers of her royal guard to assist the Republic forces in repelling the Sith invasion.
See General Vaklu's section for the Dark Side ending.
Trask Ulgo was a Republic soldier who served on board the Endar Spire during the Jedi Civil War.
In Knights of the Old Republic, he is the first person Darth Revan encounters during the initial fight on the Endar Spire. Trask becomes the first member of Revan's party. Trask's purpose is mainly to teach a player in the basics of the game. Trask and Revan fight their way to the bridge in order to rescue Bastila, but find the bridge empty, and head for the escape pods. On the way there, the pair encounter Darth Bandon. Trask tells Revan to continue to the escape pods and charges Bandon, engaging him in a duel. The bulkhead closes, and the ensuing battle is hidden from the player's view. However, on the way to the escape pods, Carth Onasi uses the comms, normally a public-address system, to address Revan directly, informing him that he and Carth are the last Republic soldiers aboard the Endar Spire, and urging him to hurry to Onasi's location, where he is waiting to launch the last remaining escape pod until Revan arrives. Considering that Revan later encounters and kills Bandon, this certainly means Trask was killed.
Through a subplot on the planet Taris, the main character learns of a bounty on an overzealous assassin named Selven. The bounty office manager, Zax the Hutt, reveals that Selven was hired by an unknown party to kill the Ulgos, presumably including Trask. Zax says that the Ulgos were a wealthy noble family, but all were brutally slaughtered by Selven. He states that Selven's bounty originated from the Organas, a royal family from Alderaan — presumably the ancestors of the family that adopts Princess Leia thousands of years later. Zax feels that perhaps the Organas were the ones who originally hired Selven to kill the Ulgos, and they placed a bounty on her head to bury any connections.
Jorak Uln is a character who, thus far, has only appeared in Knights of the Old Republic.
Jorak Uln was the former headmaster of the Sith academy on Korriban, and one of Revan's followers who had previously set up the Sith Academy on Korriban.
Prior to the events depicted in the game, Jorak Uln was overthrown by his apprentice, Uthar Wynn. Yet, he left for the tomb of Tulak Hord, one of the ancient Sith lords buried in the fabled of Valley of the Dark Lords.
It is unknown whether he simply escaped or if Uthar allowed him to live. Jorak is insane, delighting in inflicting suffering, perhaps this is because the years of isolation and the corruption of the dark side of the Force have destroyed his last grip on reality. When the player character visits Korriban on a quest to discover the fabled Star Maps, he can explore the tomb of Tulak Hord to find valuable artifacts in order to impress Uthar Wynn and gain prestige, which is needed to gain access to the tomb where the map lies. Jorak Uln tricks the player by releasing poison gas. The player awakes in his sanctum, alongside fellow student Mekel, a Sith who apparently was captured too by Jorak, while exploring the tomb.
Jorak asks the player questions about the Sith philosophy, after complaining that the current students lack the "gumption" and purity one would expect from a true Sith.
If the player answers a question wrong, Jorak unleashes Force lightning on him. If he answers them correctly, Jorak unleashes Force lightning on Mekel. The player must answer at least three questions correctly in order to pass the test. Then Mekel dies, and Jorak gives the player a holocron, which should help him become a true Sith, as he claims. Jorak then leaves the tomb, it is unknown whether he survived the civil war.
If the player answers some questions right and wrong, he and Mekel turn on Jorak and kill him. The player can then take the holocron and has the option to spare Mekel or kill him.
It should be noted that the gas Uln unleashes upon the player and his or her party only affects organic party members, as the droids HK-47 and T3-M4 will stay conscious when it is released. Also, the player will succumb to it even if they are wearing a poison-proof mask or armor at the time.
General Vaklu is the cousin of Queen Talia in The Sith Lords.
During the Mandalorian War, Vaklu gained fame and respect from the populace of Onderon for leading an active resistance during the occupation of the planet by the Mandalorians. Even Canderous Ordo (Mandalore) spoke of Vaklu with respect.
Unlike his cousin, who believed in and supported the Old Republic, Vaklu was against Onderon's membership in the Old Republic, believing the galactic organization was exploiting the planet for manpower and resources, and so he advocated secession. This caused much friction between the two and more often than not, would lead to fiery arguments between them, whenever the issue came up. Though he had substantial support amongst the governing council of Onderon and in the army, he could never garner enough support to push through any resolutions of secession.
Eventually, tensions came to a head and a civil war erupted. Using his support in the army and a secret alliance with the Sith (whom he eventually betrayed), Vaklu attempted a coup against Talia, the success or failure of which entirely depended on the actions of the Jedi Exile.
See Queen Talia's section for the light side ending.
The Jedi Exile's intervention swung the balance of the battle into General Vaklu's favor, as Vaklu's troops stormed the palace, and invaded the Queen's throne room. Jedi Master Kavar tried to stop the invasion, but the Jedi Exile, aided by the dark side's rage, defeated him in a gruelling battle. Queen Talia was subsequently killed, either by Vaklu's forces, or in a duel against the Jedi Exile (depending on the Exile's choice).
Even though Vaklu, the secessionist, came out victorious, he turned on his Sith allies, choosing to send his troops to Telos, when the Sith invasion commenced, though his ruling was short-lived according to Kreia.

Griff Vao is a Twi'lek and older brother to Mission Vao. He left Mission on the Outer Rim planet Taris, to go to Tatooine with a Twi'lek Dancer named Lena. He appears in Knights of the Old Republic.
Lena approaches the ex-Darth Revan, telling him that Griff Vao is on Tatooine; he joined Czerka Corporation's mining operations and he left her when she ran out of credits. After talking to the Czerka Corporation representative during the search for Tatooine's Star Map, Revan learned that Griff Vao was captured by the Sand People, and that he was a poor worker, frequently faking injuries to get the day off.
After rescuing Griff Vao from the Sand People, Revan once again meets Griff, at the Czerka Corporation offices. There he asks Revan to bring him some Tach glands from Kashyyyk to help him make some "Tarisian ale"; Taris was destroyed by an orbital bombardment ordered by Darth Malak, resulting in a cessation of production and consequent significant rise in demand within the markets for the ale. In the game, if you bring him the tach glands, he tells the main character that with this, he can make the ale. But if the player returns later, the main character discovers that Griff has disappeared again because his scheme does not work out well, much as with all of Griff's plans; what becomes of him after that is unknown.

Mission Vao (3,970 BBY-?) is a Twi'lek living on Taris for a large part of her childhood. She is 14 years old at the time of her appearance in the game. She and her Wookiee friend Zaalbar hang out in the lower city, undercity, and sewers on Taris. Her brother Griff has left Taris with his girlfriend Lena.
Soon after the player and Carth crash on the planet, Gamorrean slavers capture Zaalbar and she goes to the player and Carth for help at the bottom of Taris in a small village, having met them earlier in a cantina. Together they free Zaalbar and Mission helps the player bypass a sewer forcefield. She then joins the player for the rest of the game.
Mission's whereabouts during Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords are unknown if the canonical Light Side option is selected. However, one of the items available in the sequel, the Vao Armband, is apparently a gift to her from Zaalbar.
Note: If the player chooses to follow Bastila Shan to the Dark Side of the Force (non-canon), Mission will be either killed by Zaalbar or the player. If the player follows the Light Side of the Force, Mission will not be killed and will remain a usable party member.
Vogga the Hutt was a Huttese businessman based on Nar Shaddaa who specialized in fuel; specifically high-grade fuel suitable for, among other things, Citadel Station. Like most Hutts, he technically is a hermaphrodite, but generally has a masculine personality. His first and only appearance is in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
After the Jedi Exile caused the destruction of the Peragus mining facilities, the biggest competitor to Vogga's importing of fuel from Sleheyron, Vogga began attempting to replace the sudden shortage of fuel. G0-T0 opposed the Hutt's business plan. In retaliation, Vogga hired a considerable number of bounty hunters (like Hanharr) and bribed a number of G0-T0's underlings (like Visquis). The Exile took advantage of this when she registered the Ebon Hawk as a freighter of Vogga's; unsurprisingly, this resulted in G0-T0 intercepting the freighter, whereupon the Exile caused G0-T0's yacht to decloak. Vogga's waiting vessels promptly blew it out of space. Vogga further won in that G0-T0, under the Exile's prompting, agreed to ship fuel to Telos in exchange for G0-T0's non-interference.

Zaalbar is a fictional character from the Knights of the Old Republic.
Zaalbar, or "Big Z", was a Wookiee, a loyal companion of Revan onboard the Ebon Hawk.
Zaalbar comes from the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk. His peaceful life was dramatically interrupted when his brother Chuundar became an agent of Czerka Corporation, selling his people to the slavers and eroding the ways of the Wookiee culture. Unable to stand this, Zaalbar attacked Chuundar with his claws, violating what was at that time Wookiee tradition, and was branded a "madclaw" and exiled from Kashyyyk by his father, chief of the Wookiees.
Zaalbar finally found himself on the distant planet of Taris, where he befriended a young Twi'lek girl named Mission Vao. Zaalbar's strength and fearsomeness allowed Mission to survive in the harsh society of the Lower City of Taris. The two often looked for adventures in the Undercity Sewers - and one day, Zaalbar was caught by Gamorrean slavers. Mission escaped the sewers, just in time to find Revan, who was heading to the sewers during his quest of liberating Bastila Shan and escaping Taris. Revan freed Zaalbar, and in turn the Wookiee offered him a life-debt.
Zaalbar followed Revan from that minute - until Revan landed in the forests of Kashyyk, seeking an ancient Star Map. Revan and his companions were all taken to Chuundar upon entrance into the Wookiee City, where Zaalbar was imprisoned and Revan was tasked with killing an exiled "madclaw" wookiee in the Shadowlands. Unexpectedly, it turned out that this exile was Freyyr, the father of Zaalbar and Chuundar, who was too late to find the truth in Zaalbar's accusations of Chuundar selling his fellow Wookies as slaves.
At this point the player can choose to either spare Zaalbar's father, help lead a revolt against the slavers and free the Wookiees, or you can kill him, further ensuring the slavery of the Wookiee people and leave with the gratitude of Chuundar. If the player helps Freyyr revolt, then Zaalbar asks and receives Bacca's sword, an ancient cemorial blade. If the player sides with Chuundar, Zaalbar will loudly demand Bacca's sword, and Chuundar will give it to him, as getting rid of the ancient relic will help consolidate his power.
It is unknown what became of Zaalbar after the departure of Revan to the Unknown Reigons; it is possible he may have followed Revan there, to continue paying off his lifedebt but since it is said that Revan left everyone behind it is more likely he may have returned to Rwookrrorro to become chieftain.
Note: If Revan turns to the dark side, Revan can ask Zaalbar to slay his long time friend Mission, thus proving his life debt is stronger than any single life. He will try to avenge Mission's death on the Star Forge against Bastilla and Revan, but he is killed in the process.
