Contents

  • Japanese title: 紅き四つ葉のクローバーを探せ (Akaki Yotsuba no Kurōbā o Sagase)
  • English title: Find the Crimson Four-Leaf Clover!
  • Approx. length: 17 min.

Konohamaru is in love with a girl, Ureshino Kaede, who is moving away from the village. He wishes to win her heart with a red four leaf clover, which is also supposed to grant any wish. Konohamaru asks Naruto Uzumaki to help him find it, but they have to travel into the forbidden zone, Akagahara, to retrieve it. After activating almost every trap on the way to the clover, the pair are attacked by marionettes after moving a statue to reach the clover. Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha appear to help, but still can't defeat them. At last, the marionettes shut off after Konohamaru lifts the statue back to its original position. Then one of the leaves fall off. Konohamaru still gives the clover to Kaede, and she kisses him on his cheek. (Apparently, Kaede liked Konohamaru also, due to her asking about Konohamaru and silently saying goodbye to him.)

  • Japanese title: 滝隠れの死闘 オレが英雄だってばよ! (Takigakure no Shitō Ore ga Eiyū Dattebayo!)
  • English title: Battle at Hidden Falls. I Am the Hero!
  • English Dub title: Mission: Protect the Waterfall Village!
  • Approx. length: 40 minutes.

This OVA is more action-oriented than the first one. In the beginning, Team 7, along with Kakashi Hatake, escort a ninja named Shibuki, the leader of his village, to his home at Takigakure. Shibuki is a coward, however, due to circumstances surrounding his father's death. The Hidden Village has a secret bottle of water called the "Hero's Water." The water imbues whoever drinks it with a dramatic, but temporary, increase in chakra. The effects are similar to opening a "chakra gate," in that it can shorten lifespan as well. Five missing-nin come to the village to steal the Hero's Water, and Team 7 defends against the incursion.

This OVA aired in the US on May 19, 2007, on Cartoon Network's Toonami block. The DVD was released on May 22, 2007. This Special received a TV-Y7-FV rating when it first aired due to the fact that Cartoon Network ignored its original rating. Reruns are now TV-PG-V.

  • Japanese title: ついに激突!上忍VS下忍!!無差別大乱戦大会開催!! (Tsuini gekitotsu! Jōnin tai Genin!! Musabetsu dairansen taikai kaisai!!)
  • English title: Finally a clash! Jonin VS Genin!! Indiscriminate grand melee tournament meeting!!
  • Approx. length: 26 Minutes

This is included as an extra with the Naruto: Narutimate Hero 3 video game for the Playstation 2. A contest is made by the Fifth Hokage called Jonin vs Genin. The point is to collect crystals for points, with the higher-ranked Chunin and Jonin holding crystals worth more points. The Genin have blue crystals, while the Chunin and Jonin have red crystals. The video shows various fights between the Genin and Jonin, which each instance ending in the Jonin unknowingly losing their crystal (or discarding it). The purpose of the OVA is to provide hints for the RPG mode of the game.

  • English title: Hidden Leaf Village Grand Sports Festival
  • Approx. length: 11 min.

This OVA follows Naruto and Team 7's attempt to win a competition among the other Genin, which consists of various sporting events and races where the winning team will receive a week's paid vacation. Naruto has to use the toilet throughout the entire OVA, only to be prevented in each attempt by his fellow Genin and his own mistakes. This is shown as a bonus before the Japanese release of the first Naruto movie. The OVA was released on the American DVD release of the first Naruto movie. There are many cameo appearances such as Itachi, Kisame, Minato Namikaze, the first, second and third hokage, Haku, Zabuza, Inari, Tazuna,Jirobo, Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, Kakashi, Iruka, Gamabunta, Pakkun, The Oboro brothers, Hayate Gekko, Tayuya, Kidomaru, Kabuto, Ebisu, Anbu Black Ops, Shizune, Asuma, Kurenai, Anko, Akamaru, Tonton, Gamakichi, Gamatatsu, Guy, Tsunade, and Ibiki. Because of it the characters seen in line for the rest room, this doesn't have a place in the Naruto time line, but, if it had to have a place, it would be after episode 80. Sasuke is seen wearing his new black gear, he has only been seen wearing it in The Chunin Exam finals Arc, Invasion Of Konoha Arc, and The Return Of Itachi Arc. The only place it fits in there is after the invasion and before the return, so there is no place on the timeline, but if there had to be, after episode 80.
