Lehavim (Hebrew: להבים) is a town (local council) in the Southern District of Israel, in the northern Negev desert. Founded in 1983, it is located 12 km north of Beer-Sheva and 4 km east of Rahat, near the crossing of Highway 40 (Beer-Sheva — Tel-Aviv) and Route 31 (Arad — Rahat), known as the Lehavim Junction. The Lod—Beer-Sheva railway line passes through the crossing, and a train stop construction at the junction is underway.
According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics, its population is 5,300 (end of 2004 census). The jurisdiction of Lehavim is 2,525 dunams (2.5 km²).
