Kilcoole (Cill Chomghaill in Irish), is a village in County Wicklow, Ireland. It is 3 km south of Greystones and 14km north of Wicklow Town approximately 30 km south of Dublin. It was used as the set for the successful Irish television series 'Glenroe', which ran during the 1980s & 1990s. The village is currently expanding rapidly and is a dormitory town for many workers commuting to Dublin and Bray.

An area of marshland runs along the coast from Kilcoole for 16km to Wicklow town called "the Murragh". The Murragh is home to many endangered species of plant and animal. The beach in Kilcoole is the summertime home of The Little Tern. It is one of the few places in Ireland where Little Terns nest.

Druids Glen golf course, which hosted the Irish open from 1996 to 1999 is located less than a kilometre away, on the Newtownmountkennedy road.

Dublin Bus provides services between Kilcoole and Dublin on their 84 bus with a journey time of about 80 minutes. There is a CIE railway station at the beach (approx 1 mile from the village. There is a limited train service - 6 trains a day stop in Kilcoole. Beside the railway station there is a monument commemorating the landing of a consignment of guns for the Irish Volunteers at Kilcoole by Sir Thomas Myles in August 1914.

In the village is the Rock, a wild area of about a quarter of a hectare. A flora, The Flowering Plants of Kilcoole Rock (A5 booklet) is available free from Magic Mist Press, 20 Sylvan Lawn, Kilcoole, Co Wicklow, Ireland.
