Kau Sai Chau

Kau Sai Chau (滘西洲) is an island located off the coast of Sai Kung of Hong Kong, with an area of 6.69 km².
The large island is the location of the Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course, developed and run by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. It opened in 1995.
One of the declared monuments of Hong Kong, a prehistoric stone carving, discovered in 1976, can also be found on the north-west of the island. Another declared monument, a Hung Shing Temple is also located on the island.
