Katy Keene is a character created by Bill Woggon who has appeared in several comic book series published by Archie Comics beginning in the 1940s.

Katy Keene is a model known as the "Pin-Up Queen", and her comics encouraged readers to send in original drawings of unique cars and boats for her and her friends, house trailers and rockets, as well as accessories and outfits for her to wear. These designs were used in the comics with credit given to the submitters. She appeared in various anthology comic series in the 1940s, eventually getting her own short-lived comic. There continued to be specials such as Katy Keene Pin Up Parade and Katy Keene Fashion Book Magazine through the 1950s, but the character was not seen for about 20 years starting in the early 1960s until she was revived in the 1980s. Bill Woggon's apprentice, John Lucas has carried on the tradition with his comics and paper doll books. In the early 1990s she once again went into disuse, although she made an appearance in The Punisher Meets Archie in 1994.

Archie Comics re-reintroduced Katy, now a high school student / aspiring model, in its 2005 Free Comic Book Day issue. She recently started appearing in Archie Comics and Archie & Friends Comics.

Recently, however Katy Keene is shown to have a sister, Mackenzie. She is also an actress as can be seen in Archie and Friends #103 in October 2006.
