Kate Magowan

Kate Magowan is a graduate of The Actors Institute, London and has trained in the Meisner Technique. Kate made her stage debut in a production of Caryl Churchill's Top Girls and has gone on to work consistently in film, theatre, television and radio. Her film credits include leading roles in Is Harry on the Boat?, Michael Winterbottom's 24 Hour Party People,Sonya in Michael Dowse's fictional biopic It's All Gone Pete Tong and as Una in the forthcoming Stardust. She is married to British actor, John Simm, who was also in 24 Hour Party People. They have a 5-year-old son, Ryan, and daughter Molly born February 2007.
