KFNS is also an FM radio station in Troy, Missouri located at 100.7 mHz, and can be heard in Lincoln, St. Charles and Warren counties in eastern Missouri, with the same programming as its AM partner. Both KFNS stations go by the name of The FAN.

KFNS is a SportsTalk radio station, which also airs St. Louis Steamers indoor soccer games and Saint Louis University basketball games. Beginning with the 2006 season, KFNS-FM is the new radio home for River City Rascals baseball games during the summer months.

KFNS-AM and KFNS-FM are both currently owned by All Sports Radio and broadcasts with 1.0 kW of power, 24 hours per day. KFNS broadcasts using 4 towers during the daytime hours and 3 towers at night.

KFNS first went on the air circa 1965, as WRTH. WRTH was playing classical music and standards all the way until September, 1988, when WRTH became WKLL, with an all-oldies (50s and 60s Top 40 hits) format. In 1990, the format changed again to an all-business news format under the call-letters WCEO. A year later, the standards were back as WCEO became KEZK-AM. The most recent change occurred when KEZK-AM became the KFNS, going from standards to its current sports-talk format on April 5, 1993.
