IMDb profile

Just Visiting is a 2001 comedy film and a spin-off of the French films, Les Visiteurs and Les Visiteurs 2. It stars Jean Reno, Christina Applegate, Christian Clavier, Malcolm McDowell, Tara Reid, and Bridgette Wilson. It is about a medieval knight and his serf who travel to the 21st century, meeting the knight's descendant. Even though it has a different storyline, it still is considered an official part of the series.

This was Hollywood Pictures' final production before it folded into the management of its sister company, Walt Disney Pictures/Touchstone Pictures (the label would be re-activated in 2006).

The backstory takes place in 12th century England, and Lord Thibault was to marry the Princess Rosalind, daughter of the reigning King, who would thus be Henry II. Her mother was Eleanor of Aquitaine, and her brothers were Richard the Lionhearted and John Lackland.
