Maki Te Ju-Jitsu which blends traditional Ju-Jitsu and Wing Chun Kung Fu along with elements from Arnis, Mauy Thai and Karate. Maki Te takes the best of other styles and incorporates it into a form of very effective fighting methods. The Maki Te Ju-Jitsu system focuses on self defense against all types of attacks, from unarmed opponents to attackers armed with sticks, knives, baseball bats and guns. Maki Te Ju-Jitsu teaches not only unarmed defense but also defending with weapons and using your surroundings to aid in your defense. This could occur in using one attacker against another, stripping an attacker of his weapon and using it for your own, or using your own clothing (such as a belt or jacket) to defend against your attacker.

Maki Te Ju-Jitsu focuses is not only on stopping attackers but also on controlling your opponents through joint manipulation in the form of finger, wrist, arm and leg locks, and through chokes and other forms of pain compliance.
