Josef ("Pepi") Stiegler (born April 20, 1937) was a member of the Austrian national alpine ski team during the 1960s and one of the world's premier racers. He is the father of United States alpine skier Resi Stiegler.

At the 1960 Winter Olympics of Squaw Valley, Josef Stiegler won a silver medal in Giant Slalom. At the 1964 Winter Olympics of Innsbruck, he took the bronze medal in Giant Slalom and the gold medal in Slalom. Stiegler later made appearances at many ski events in the United States, wrote articles for ski magazines, eventually ending up at Jackson Hole, Wyoming where he reigned for many years as ski school director.
