Johnny Jeter made his debut as one of Los Conquistadores (along with Rob Conway) at the APA Invitational Barroom Brawl Match during Vengeance 2003, which was then a SmackDown! brand Pay Per View.
After that he was assigned to the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) farm territory, where he became a member of The Spirit Squad. Jeter and The Spirit Squad were eventually called up to RAW. The Squad would become closely associated with The McMahons and would feud with DX and Ric Flair, as well as hold the World Tag Team Championship as a team.
Following the breakup of The Spirit Squad, Johnny became the second member of the team to return, coming back during a 30-man battle royal on the December 18, 2006 episode of RAW; wearing new wrestling attire. Following this appearance, Jeter resumed his absence from WWE television. Johnny Jeter made his return to OVW on the February 21 TV taping as Idol Stevens' tag team partner.
