Jaret Reddick (born March 6, 1972 in Grapevine, Texas) is the lead vocalist/guitarist for pop punk band Bowling For Soup. He plays a trademark guitar that has a flag of Texas design on it.
Jaret Reddick (aka Jaret Von Erich) was born in Grapevine, Texas. He is the youngest of 6 children, with four sisters and 1 brother, named Danny. He went to Cunningham Elementary School, Wichita Falls, TX. He graduated from S.H. Rider High School in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1990. In high school, he played snare drum in the marching band.
Bowling For Soup formed in 1994 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Their name derives from Bowling For Shit, a comedy routine by Steve Martin. Jaret is the main songwriter for the band, penning such BFS hits as Girl All the Bad Guys Want and Punk Rock 101, as well as playing lead guitar. He also likes Iron Maiden with his favourite song being Paschendale inspired by his old history teacher Dave McGill.
- Jaret once said that the coolest person on earth is Mötley Crüe bass player Nikki Sixx.
- His favourite Pulp Fiction quote is "Pretty please, with sugar on top, clean the fucking car" (The line is said by Harvey Keitel's character, Winston Wolf).
