Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel is a casino and hotel complex located on the Lower Sioux Indian Reservation which is an Indian reservation located along the southern bank of the Minnesota River in Redwood County, Minnesota, just south of the city of Morton. The 325,000 sq ft casino[1] is also owned and operated by the Sioux Indian tribe that is associated with the reservation. Lodging includes a hotel, Lower Sioux Lodge, consists of 276 rooms and a 40 space RV park. There are several places to eat, including the Dacotah Restaurant, and Carousel Buffet.

1984-opened as a bingo hall

1988-tables and slot machines are added

1996-convention center added

In 1998, the casino became the sponsor for the IMCA KSE Racing Products Sprint Cars tour[2]

1999-amphitheater is built

On November 25, 2005 an arson fire caused the casino to shut down.[3]
