JR Writer, also known as "Serious Business", "The Writer of Writers" and "A.R. Writer" (born Juan Rusty Brito, Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York City, New York, on September 13, 1984) is an American hip hop artist of Dominican descent.

Writer's freestyling and lyrics are characterised by aggressive wordplay. He is a member of The Diplomats. Despite not attaining much mainstream success, Writer has been highly successful on the mixtape circuit and has earned the unofficial title of Dipset's leading lyricist.

JR Writer has his own label, Writers Block, his cousin Nino is the CEO and Writer's brother Fred Money is among the artists signed.
