Interior

In general, the interior of something refers to the space or part inside of it, excluding any kind of wall or boundary around its outside. It has different, more specific definitions in different contexts.
- "The Interior" is common parlance in the Canadian province of British Columbia for its inland areas, and is also used in official regional names, e.g. Central Interior, Northern Interior. The main article for this region is British Columbia Interior. It includes all of, but is not limited to:
- The Interior Plateau is the official name of the parts of the Canadian province of British Columbia lying between the Coast Mountains and the Columbia Mountains and the Canadian Rockies, and south of the Interior Mountains. The term is sometimes used also to mean the adjoining interior plateau of Washington, but the official name of that region is the Columbia Plateau.
