Hollywood 7

Hollywood 7 was third television series made by British pop group S Club 7 and the second television series shot in California. The programme was shown every week on CBBC and starred all seven members of the band as themselves and former Brady Bunch actor Barry Williams a.k.a Greg Brady as Manager Dean "The Machine" Strickland in thirteen episodes.

In the pilot episode the band decide to give themselves 24 hours to get themselves a Svengali. Dean Strickland is in trouble himself if he can't find himself the musical equation of "Sliced Bread" in the same amount of time. Both problems are solved as he signs the S Club 7. In the fourth episode the series the S Club 7 are at what is most commonly known as Make or Break Time. The record execs sign the band on the spot. In the Fifth Episode "THE KISS", at a party celebrating the band being signed to their label Hannah Spearritt and Paul Cattermole share a kiss which sends shock waves throughout the band, In reality Paul & Hannah had been dating at the time. In a two part episode the band open for a latin heartthrob they rendered unconscious and after waking up not knowing that his opening act had outshined him or he had a concert that night. Fearing they had gotten on the wrong side of his fans, the band goes into hiding until they feel it's safe and in which Jon Lee dresses in drag. But realize, nothing bad was going to happen. The band soon shoot to instant fame and have to leave and go home to Britain and work on a new album in the finale. The series is followed up by Viva S Club.

The S Clubbers are still in Hollywood, struggling to get their big break. They need to find a manager and decide to give themselves 24 hours to find one. If they don't, it's back to London and the end of S Club 7! They ask for help from the psychic, Mystic Pete, who tells them that the secret of success lies where the big silver birds go to die!

Nearby, the unsuccessful manager Dean Strickland is told that he will get one last chance to find talent, and he has 24 hours to do it or he will be let go! Dean also goes to Mystic Pete's for help and gets the same advice as the 7s!

But where's that strange place Mystic Pete is talking about, and will S Club 7 get themselves a manager before the time runs out?

In this episode the 7s finally get their hands on some cash. Their first ever advance checks arrive from their manager, and it seems things are really looking up until the guys find out that they're all being paid different amounts! Things are turning pretty sticky between the 7s when Jon attempts a stunt that goes horribly wrong.

In their quest for international pop stardom, the band team up with an expert who sets up a bunch of attention-grabbing publicity stunts. The plan goes horribly wrong with Rachel and Hannah getting a real shock, Tina having to deal with some painful lies and Jon being matched up with a fake girlfriend.

It's make or break time for the 7s - they've got to either get a deal or get dumped by their manager. Things get even trickier when Jo and Hannah have a massive fall out and wage war against each other! Be warned - there's creepy-crawly action in this one!

Romance is brewing in S Club 7 when Hannah and Paul kiss. But can they keep it a secret? In the meantime, the 7s get an extra member in shape of a super-cute pooch!

It looks like S Club 7 are finally making it - they've even got their very first fan! Unfortunately the fan turns out to be a total freakazoid who pops up everywhere they go - spooky! We also get to go behind the scenes on a funky vid shoot organised by a bonkers director!

S Club 7 sing: Summertime Feeling

Hannah's cousin Ben comes to visit but he turns out to be a total sponger, who ropes the band into playing at a Mafia wedding! Aaarggh! In the meantime, Jon's got the dodgy job of training their unfit manager to run the LA marathon!

It's time for the 7s to get a radical makeover as a stylist is brought in to give the band a new look. Unfortunately, their new looks leave the band cold and the 7s decide to stage a rebellion!

S Club 7 sing: Have You Ever

Horror! Rachel is totally traumatised after finding a grey hair and is convinced that she is ageing prematurely! Even worse, the band's manager is sacked by their record company and the whole future of S Club 7 looks shaky. Could it all go wrong, just when they're so close to making it?

S Club 7 sing: Stronger & Sunshine

It looks like being S Club 7's big break when they get asked to support a massive Latino superstar, Miguel Delgado, who the four girls are all crazy for… until they accidentally knock him out just before going on stage, that is! The 7s find themselves in a real scrape this time and have to try to sing and revive Miguel at the same time!

S Club 7 sing: You, S Club Party & Friday Night

After messing up Miguel Delgado's concert and making him lose his memory, the 7s decide to hide out for a while in a dingy motel. Finding themselves broke, they send Hannah and Jon back to the apartment in disguise - Hannah dressed as a hairy Scotsman and Jon as a girl! Tons of misunderstandings follow - including Miguel being so convinced by Jon's disguise that he asks him out!

It's the moment of truth - the 7s' first live gig in front of thousands of screaming fans. But Rachel is so nervous that she can't go on stage and Tina is worried about losing her voice! Are S Club 7 about to blow the big break they've worked so hard for?

It looks like S Club 7 have really made it! So much so that they're getting sent off to do international promotion. But where is it they're off to? The band are over the moon when they hear the news but you'll have to watch the show to get the picture!
