Agatha Heterodyne is the main character in the Girl Genius webcomic and comic book written and drawn by Phil Foglio and Kaja Foglio.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Agatha is a "Spark", or mad scientist. She is especially good at creating and repairing electrical and mechanical devices, such as engines and "Clanks", impossibly advanced steampunk Robots. She also does things in her sleep, ever since her Spark ability has awakened. At the moment she is the host for the spark known as The Other.

  • Clanks
    • The Search Engine, a machine she creates to find a thief.
    • Dingbots, small self replicating machines.
    • The Rescue Clank, which is used to rescue another Spark.
  • Weapons
    • Electric swords, used to fight Slaver Wasps.
    • A Death Ray, which serves as her weapon until she sacrifices it to destroy a bridge.
