Haig Avenue

Haig Avenue is a football stadium in Southport, England and is the home ground of Southport F.C.. The stadium now has a capacity of 6,008 people (1,884 seated, 4,124 standing) though the record attendance is 20,010 against Newcastle United F.C. in the fourth round of the FA Cup in 1932.

The ground is situated to the east of Southport, just off the main road to Ormskirk. It is sited at the edge of a residential area, adjoining school playing fields, and has no car parking facilities.

The ground has a covered main stand opposite an uncovered terrace and, behind the goals, the south stand is covered but the north (away) end is open.
