Guildford Grammar Preparatory School is a co-educational school in Guildford, Western Australia. Its current Head is Craig Wheatley. There are currently 18 classes ranging from Kindergarten to Year 7. [4][5]

There are currently 411 students with the class size limit being 25[citation needed] - even though most classes are well below that number - as low as 17.[6] There are a number of Student Leadership positions are available for Year 7 pupils[citation needed]. TEPs (Tailored Education Programs) are in use.[4]
Each student attends 70 minutes of PE each week, with Years 4-7 involved in extra after-school sports on Monday, and interschool matches with other JSHAA schools on Thursday for Years 5-7 from 1:00pm to 3:15pm. Younger grades participate in one hour of sport outside of PE on a Wednesday afternoon. [7]
Each student from Kindergarten to Year 7 is placed in a Quarter (similar to a house) for sporting purposes. Students participate in Quarter groups throughout the year for the end of year Cup. The four Quarters are North, South, East and West.[7]
Co-curricular music groups include the Prep Band, String Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble (a Senior School group), a Chapel Choir, a Year 6/7 Choir, a Recorder Ensemble and the Junior (yr 4/5) Choir.
After school programs include chess club, homework club, archery club, challenge club, card club and Rugby Sevens[citation needed].
The only times when the school comes together is on Monday morning at Chapel - 11:50 - 12:25, Wednesday morning at the same times for Congregational Singing ('Congo') and at Assembly, where various awards are presented - from 8:30 to 9:05. [7]
The school is modelled closely upon the elite English 'Public' Schools[citation needed]. The school is co-educational while the adjoining Senior School is boys only[citation needed]. Girls transfer to Perth College, a nearby girls school in Mount Lawley upon reaching year eight[citation needed].

The One Campus Project, commenced in December 2006, aims to expand the schools facilities and strengthen integration between the Senior School and the Preparatory School[citation needed]. The project is currently costed at AU$5.5 million, and is being funded from the School's tuition fees[citation needed].
The project is expected to include the construction of a new hockey pitch, a second football oval, and twelve acrylic tennis courts.
