Gary Powell (born 11th November 1969) is a drummer with the band Dirty Pretty Things. He was formerly the drummer for The Libertines and Eddy Grant. He has also played with the New York Dolls for their 2004 reunion shows.

He joined The Libertines in 2001 after being introduced to the frontmen Carl Barât and Pete Doherty by their then manager Banny Poostchi. Gary is now with the band Dirty Pretty Things with former The Libertines band mate Carl Barat.
