From the Cradle to Enslave is an EP by Cradle of Filth. It could even be considered a single, since it only contains two original tracks; the title track and the b-side "Of Dark Blood and Fucking". The rest of the disc is bolstered with two cover versions, a re-recording of a Dusk and Her Embrace track, and a dance remix.

From the Cradle to Enslave was the first of Cradle of Filth's singles to have an accompanying video. The video was directed by Alex Chandon, who also made the Filth-related film Cradle of Fear. It featured explicit images of nudity and gore and was released in two versions; edited and unedited. Both versions can be found on the PanDaemonAeon DVD.

This was the first official Cradle release to attract the Parental Advisory warning. It is not popular among Cradle of Filth's fans, but the title track is one of the band's most widely recognised and remains an almost permanent fixture on its live setlists. Dani Filth revealed his antipathy towards it in Kerrang! issue 1130: "We have to play it at every gig... I'd like to erase it, so I wouldn't have to play it again. After a while you just want to play something different. There's something about the hook that just strikes a chord of fear down my spine."

  1. "From the Cradle to Enslave" – 6:37
  2. "Of Dark Blood and Fucking" – 6:02
  3. "Death Comes Ripping" (Misfits Cover) – 1:57
  4. "Sleepless" (Anathema Cover) – 4:19
  5. "Pervert's Church (From the Cradle to Deprave)" (Remix of FTCTE only on European release) – 4:58
  6. "Funeral in Carpathia (Be Quick or Be Dead Version)" – 8:08

The American release features "Dawn of Eternity" (Massacre Cover) instead of "Pervert's Church".
