Freya Aswynn

Freya Aswynn the nom de plume of Elizabeth Hooijschuur (born in November 1949) is a Dutch neofolk & traditional folk musician, artist and neopagan author.

She currently lives in Málaga, Spain.

Aswynn has worked on several musical projects over the years, most notably the vocals for Current 93. She has appeared on the albums Swastikas for Noddy, Crooked Crosses for the Nodding God, Looney Runes, Sixsixsix Sicksicksick and several others. She did the vocals on Fire + Ice's Seeker on the 1994 album Hollow Ways.
