Firestorm (film)

Firestorm is a 1998 film starring Howie Long as a smokejumper. The plot involves a group of Wyoming State convicts who stage an escape with the help of an ex-firefighter turned arsonist on the outside. They succeed at their escape while fighting a fire.

The film was criticized in the wildland firefighting community for technical inaccuracies such as depicting smokejumpers freefalling, and got a lukewarm reception at the box office.
