Bengal fire stick

Bengal fire sticks are long poles, with a layer of pyrophoric matter on them. When ignited, the stick will burn slowly. This is very useful for lighting fireworks, as you do not have to keep lighting matches. These are also used for lighting molotov cocktails safely. Invented by Mafcash Suresh, in 1934. Suresh was a captain in the Indian army, and he created the fire stick to easily light molotov cocktails to hold off rioters.
