"It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A Deathwish" is the eleventh track from My Chemical Romance's second studio album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.

This song is listed as both "It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a Fucking Deathwish" and "It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a Deathwish" in the album, and elsewhere as "It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a Deathwish". Fans usually refer to it as the latter.

The line "you get what everyone else gets: you get a lifetime" is a near-quotation from The Sandman #43 by Neil Gaiman, in which Death says "You lived what anybody gets, Bernie. You got a lifetime. No more. No less."
