He also married Qutaylah daughter of Qays, and sister of al-Ash'ath ibn Qays, but he died before uniting with her. It is also reported that he divorced her before their coming together, and before he died. She was then after married to a man called `Ikrimah.

Among other relatives of the Muhammad are his aunts Safiya and Aatika, and his aunt Fatima bint al-Asad, the mother of Ali.[1].
