European Americans United

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

European Americans United is an ethno-political advocacy group created in 2007 whose primary stated goal, among others, is "To advance the interests of persons of traditional European ancestry in the United States." [1] The key points of advocacy of the organization include: opposition to globalism, economic nationalism, preservation of all unique cultures, environmentalism, and preservation of the freedoms recognized in the Bill of Rights.[2]

Possibly unique among ethno-political advocacy groups, European Americans United requires all members to agree to a Statement of Ethics that governs their behavior. [3] The organization's focus on ethics was highlighted by inaugural podcasts/articles dedicated specifically to that subject[4] in which problems of various sorts are blamed more on the ethical shortcomings of European-Americans than on any other ethnic group.

Nevertheless, the organization clearly holds views that are controversial; including an evident belief that a subset of Jews called "Jewish Supremacists" have a disproportionate influence on both foreign[5] and domestic[6] policy of the United States, and a belief that the culture developed by a definable group is a product of ancestry/race/heritable characteristics[7].

European Americans United first became known in 2007, though articles written by official spokespersons for the organization indicate that it may have actually existed prior.[8] There is some debate over whether European Americans United is a continuation of National Vanguard[9] or an entirely new organization[10] as stated on the organization's website. The fact that its broadcasts are hosted by Frank Roman and John Young, both previously associated with National Vanguard indicates that at least some of the personnel associated with now-defunct group changed allegiances to European Americans United. Articles written by Frank Roman that are extremely critical of the worldview and approaches of National Vanguard[11] argue in favor of the view that the official statement of European Americans United in that regard is correct.

European Americans United runs a news site Western Voices World News, encourages people to contact elected officials about pending legislation of interest to the group[12], and hosts speakers[13]. Because the group is relatively new, the full scope of its intended activities is not known.

European Americans United has two regular Internet broadcasts. Frank Roman Radio is produced weekly by Frank Roman and Western Voices is produced bi-weekly by John Young.
