Freshman Year: Devendorf had his first career start against SIENA...On the season, he averaged 12.9 points-per-game in contests he lined up with the first unit…His five three-pointers, combined with Demetris Nichols’ six three-pointers against TCU, was the first time since 1998 that two SU players made five or more three-point baskets in a single game...His 11- and 10-point performances against TEXAS TECH and FLORIDA marked the first time an SU freshman has had back-to-back double-figure scoring games since 2002-03 when Carmello Anthony and Gerry McNamara did so…He had a season-high six assists when Syracuse defeated TOWSON…Devendorf scored a career-high 22 points against NOTRE DAME...He also surpassed 20 points in games at VILLANOVA (21) and at home versus RUTGERS (21)…In one four-game stretch (at ST. JOHN’S-WEST VIRGINIA), he averaged 16.0 points an outing…He averaged 14.5 points per game in BIG EAST regular-season play…He scored in double-figures in 22 games this season, including 11 of the last 12…With 50 three pointers, Devendorf posted the third highest SU single-season total by a freshman…He was selected BIG EAST Conference Preseason Rookie of the Year and capped the campaign by being named to the league’s all-rookie team.

Oak Hill Academy: Devendorf transfered to Oak Hill Academy (Va.) for his senior season…He followed in the footsteps of three previous Orange performers -- Billy Edelin, Carmelo Anthony and Dayshawn Wright -- in the nationally recognized program…A McDonald’s All-American selection, Devendorf had 13 points and three assists to help the East defeat the West, 115-110…He also participated in the Roundball Classic where he earned co-West most valuable player honors after contributing 17 points and seven assists…The West won, 136-119…Devendorf was an EA Sports All-America pick…He was named a third team Parade All-American…Oak Hill earned the number one ranking and was proclaimed the 2005 national champion…The squad was 34-2 on the year…Devendorf had a season-high 23 points in games against Bonner Academy and Woodside…He had a 21-point outburst when Oak Hill beat Lanier in the Marshall County Hoopfest and had a 20-point outing versus Lynwood in the Top of the World Tournament…He just missed a double-double against Statesville Christian, tallying 18 points and nine assists in a 110-45 triumph…He completed the campaign with a 15.3 scoring mark on 472 points…Devendorf averaged 4.5 assists per game…Coach Steve Smith guided Oak Hill to the following tournament titles during the course of the campaign: the Blue Chip Shootout, the Bourbon Shootout, the Top of the World Tournament, the Les Schwab Invitational, the Roundball Classic, the Primetown Shootout and the Champions Basketball Classic…Prior to enrolling in Oak Hill, Devendorf was ranked ninth in the class of 2005 by recruiting analyst Dave Telep of The InsidersHoops.com…At the time, he was ranked 22nd in the class by Clark Francis of HoopScooponline.
