Ascendancy (2005) |
Ember to Inferno is the first album from Floridian metalcore/thrash metal band Trivium. It was released in April 2003 on Lifeforce Records. Interestingly, the first track ("Inception, the Bleeding Skies"), is the last track ("A View of Burning Empires") played backwards[citation needed].
The Album seems to follow a theme of tyranny, oppression, and freedom, with songs covering guerilla warfare and overthrowing evil.
Band leader and frontman Matt Heafy was a mere 17 years old when the album was written and recorded.
