Eddie Galan (born February 4, 1979) is a Los Angeles born singer/musician, 4 time #1 Hit Billboard songwriter and record producer, with 9x Platinum status. He is the oldest of four children to Edward and Teresa Galan.

Eddie G. (along with partner Drew Lane and the other producers) recently won a Billboard Award for his work on Disney's "High School Musical", which took home the Billboard Soundtrack Album of The Year award. The album was also up for the Billboard Album Of The Year Award, and has spawned 2 Billboard 200 #1's. Eddie G. was also nominated (along with partner Drew Lane and the other producers on Disney's "High School Musical") in the Best Pop/Rock Album category for the 2006 American Music Award. Eddie Galan and Drew Lane produced the B5 version of a song called "Get'Cha Head In Da Game," on "High School Musical." [1] In 2006, he co-produced B5's "Shining Star" on Disney's "Hannah Montana Soundtrack" CD, which achieved double platinum status in less than 10 weeks, 2.2 million in sales and spawned two #1's on the Billboard 200 charts, [2] as well as co-wrote and produced three songs on Sony Records recording artist Cecy B. Eddie Galan and partner Drew Lane have already landed 52 new major cuts in 2007. Eddie has collaborated and worked with many established acts, including Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, O-Town, DREAM, B5, Lil Romeo, LeAnn Rimes, Jesse McCartney, Nina Sky, Nick Lachey, and Steven Tyler.

Eddie Galan and partner Drew Lane are currently working on such upcoming projects for the Backstreet Boys[3] , Jessica Simpson [4], Craig David [5], Motown/Universal recording group, Jada and many other top major label acts.

Eddie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Eddie studied film production at Occidental College in Los Angeles and began a successful career in music songwriting and production right out of college.

He lives outside of Los Angeles, with a two year old daughter and works mostly out of Los Angeles, with various traveling around the country for projects.
