"Dumped" is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from season two.

Brief summary: Gary leaves SpongeBob and starts playing with Patrick, so SpongeBob tries to get a new pet to make Gary jealous. However, the new pets aren't as good as Gary.

SpongeBob SquarePants introduces Gary the Snail to Patrick Star, and they have a sleep-over together. The next morning, Gary doesn't want to leave Patrick. Out of jealousy, SpongeBob gets a new pet, just to show to Gary that he doesn't mind Gary not being with him. At first, he gets Rex, a worm. He also leaves him. Next, he gets Larry, who's very rude and arrogant. He also leaves him. Later, when Patrick does his laundry, at SpongeBob's house, Gary crawls in to the washing machine and Patrick thinks that Gary liked him for his shorts, but SpongeBob finds out that Gary only wanted the cookie that was inside Patrick's pocket. As SpongeBob and Gary, now reunited, go outside for a walk, a heartbroken Patrick stares after them and shouts, "Gary? I thought what we had was special!"

• Whenever SpongeBob is sad in this episode, Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" plays in the background.
• When SpongeBob thinks of the sleepover Patrick is having, Patrick audibly says "blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah" in the background.
