Doug Lawrence (born Douglas Osowski in 1969) or simply Mr. Lawrence), a native of East Brunswick, New Jersey is the voice of evil and power hungry Plankton, Larry the Lobster, the fish head (whose name is "Jonny"), and various other characters from the animated TV series SpongeBob SquarePants and the voices of noted tattletale Edward T. Platypus, Nurse Leslie and Dave and Ping-Pong on Camp Lazlo. Previously, he was voice of Filburt Shellbach in Rocko's Modern Life. He is also a standup comedian, cartoonist, writer-director, animator and producer on the television series Johnny Talk. He also worked on The Ren and Stimpy Show in its second season as a layout assistant. Apart from his voice work he is a writer and story editor on SpongeBob SquarePants.
As a comedian, Mr. Lawrence performed in New Jersey and Los Angeles, collaborating with legendary comedian Jeremy Kramer and Boston comedy writer Martin Olson.
