Dolo Odo

Dolo Odo is one of the 47 woredas in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Liben Zone, Dolo Odo is located in the angle formed by the confluence of the Ganale Dorya with the Dawa River, and bordered to the west by Liben. Towns and cities in Dolo Odo include Bekol May, Dolo and Softu.
This woreda is primarily inhabited by the Hawiye clan of the Somali people.
Based on figures published by the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, this woreda has an estimated total population of 179,562, of whom 84,910 were males and 94,652 were females; 58,622 or 32.65% of its population are urban dwellers, which is less than the Zone average of 11.3%. Information is not available for the area of Dolo Odo, so its density cannot be calculated.[1]
