"Do It to It" is a debut single from the album Unappreciated by R&B Group Cherish. "Do It To It" features rap/hip-hop artist Sean P from YoungBloodZ (not to be confused with Sean Paul, the reggae/dancehall artist). The song has so far peaked in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 reaching number 12 only 15 weeks after its release. It reached position 15 on the US Top Digital Songs Chart. It had strong videoplay on BET and reached number 2 on 106 & Park. The song played for the limit of 65 days on the countdown and was eventually retired, the only video to be retired so far this year that did not reach number 1. Other songs such as "Torn" by Letoya, "Love" by Keyshia Cole and "Be Without You" by Mary J. Blige were also retired in 2006. "Do It To It" made it to #8 on The Billboard Hot 100 Airplay.

The overall feel of the song is up-tempo and the style is "girls' night out." The theme of the song is the group telling people to dance: "Bounce wit it, drop wit it, lean wit it, rock wit it, snap wit it, all my ladies pop yo backs wit it." This song is similar in style to "Lean wit It, Rock wit It" by Dem Franchize Boys and almost exactly the same as Ciara's "Oh".

A remix to the song (Rap Remix) exists featuring artists Yung Joc, Jody Breeze, Chingy & Fabo. This version also references some songs by the guest artists like Yung Joc's "It's Goin' Down'" and Fabo from D4L's "Laffy Taffy".

The video begins with the girls' father forbidding them to party, have boys over or stay up late while their parents are out of town. After he leaves, Farrah turns to the camera and says: "Y'all know it's on, right?". The girls then begin a dance routine in front of a sliver background spliced with a wild party being hosted at their house. The next day the parents return to find the party mess, and a boy wandering round the house, leaving the girls sighing at being caught.

The video was shot in Atlanta, Georgia. It was directed by Benny Boom, who is famous for directing videos for P. Diddy, Nas, Nelly, Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child, Lil' Kim, LL Cool J, The Pussycat Dolls and many others.
