Discovery Health is a Canadian English language category 1 digital cable specialty channel owned by Alliance Atlantis Communications and Discovery Communications. The channel features a variety of programming based on human health issues, wellness, medicine and related subjects.
Licensed as Health Network Canada by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) on November 24, 2000; it was launched as Discovery Health Channel on August 15, 2001.
