1108 Demeter

1108 Demeter is an asteroid named after the Greek goddess of fertility, Demeter. It is the 1108th asteroid named, and is a main belt asteroid. Discovered on 31 May 1929 by K. Reinmuth at Heidelberg, it is 26 km in diameter.
