De Anza High School is a secondary school located in Richmond, California, named after Spanish explorer Juan Bautista de Anza.
Originally opened in 1955, local voters recently elected to float a bond measure to completely rebuild De Anza's campus from the ground up.
- Brian Abshire (1982): 1988 Olympian in the 3000 meter steeplechase and former American indoor 3000 meter record holder.
- Greg Bracelin (1975): Former NFL player
- Kirk Hammett (1980): Metallica lead guitarist
- Vyshonn King Miller (1994): Rapper known as Silkk the Shocker, and brother of rappers Master P and C-Murder, as well as the uncle of Lil Romeo.
