Daday

Daday is a town and a district of the Kastamonu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is located at 30 km west of Kastamonu, and the population is about 5,000. The district is very close to the Kastamonu city center and there is almost chance to find a vehicle between the city and Daday.
The terrain mainly consists of mountains mostly covered with pine trees, the central town is along a small river, in a valley.
Its economy majorly depends upon agriculture and forestry products. Daday is known with its famous etliekmek which is the traditional food of Kastamonu. Yeşil Daday and Selalmaz Koop. are the transporting firms in Daday. There is also a riding farm where you can find the opportunity to spend your time riding horses.
