Each show is broken down into a number of segments, namely:
- Reviews
- Previews
- Multimedia
- Internet
- Tactics
- Around the World
Watchers of Cybernet felt that reviews were often biased and lacking critique, with one watcher stating: "Cybernet is another programme hosted by an disembodied voice (but it has a name: Lucy Longhurst) and consists of plug after plug for new computer games and consoles with little even rudimentary critique beyond stating whether something is "good" or "very good"."[2]
Others felt that the show contained good content however the irregular showing times and change of host, to that of Steve Truitt, was its downfall.[3]
