Eschatological conspiracism
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eschatological Conspiracism is a variant of Christian Eschatology which deals with the belief that modern-day Conspiracy Theories are true and in fulfillment of Bible Prophecy. Nearly all advocates of Eschatological Conspiracism are premillennial futurists.
The basic tenets of Eschatological Conspiracism, which are held by the majority of its supporters, are as follows:
- The belief that the Nephilim described in Genesis 6:1-4 existed both before and after the flood, and still exist today or will return once the fallen angels resurrect from the Abyss (see Revelation 9:1-11).
- The belief that the Book of Enoch was inspired and should not have been removed from the canon.
- The belief in the difference between demons and fallen angels.
- The belief that UFO's, crop circles, and the Abduction phenomenon are all demonic in nature, and will play a major role in the last-days deceptions.
- The belief that the New World Order is secretly forming behind the scenes, in fulfillment of Daniel 7:23-25.
- The belief that the Mark of the Beast foretold in Revelation 13 will be a government-mandated chip-implant or biological implant.
- Many of those that hold this interpretation also believe that Azazel will be the Antichrist.
